Tyler lives in Woodbine, GA a coastal town near the Florida line. This location provides him with many opportunities to fish for both freshwater and saltwater species. He began fishing out of these plastic boats while attending college in Valdosta, GA back in 2004 and has been paddling southeastern waters from then on. He entered his first tournament in 2013, competing with his team member Craig Dye for the first AFWC Championship. They paddled to cover over 20 miles of water in a single day to take home 2nd place. While he doesn't tournament fish much anymore he enjoys the comradery and getting others more involved with the sport. He travels for work often so watch for him in his Bonafide kayak anywhere on the coast in the Southeastern USA looking for fish!
