Westbrook Supply Co., Kioti Outdoors, Burches Tackle Shop, Outside World Outfitters, and Reformation Brewery are teaming up to bring to you the launch party for Bonafide Kayaks brand new RS117. This event will be held at Reformation Brewery‘s new facility in Woodstock, Georgia. 

Bonafide Kayaks has quickly become one of the best selling, premium, Made in America kayak brands in the country. With the release of its maiden kayak the SS127 last year, the company set the bar with a kayak built for ultimate fishability. Five months later the SS107 debuted changing the publics option on what a ten foot fishing kayak can do. The Bonafide RS117 is the first premium brand kayak going to the retail marketplace for under a thousand dollars.

Reformation Brewery makes timeless, inspiring craft beer for the reformer in everyone. Well made beer connects people to each other and to moments in time. Reformation Brewery is built on this concept of enjoying well-made beer as a gift and sharing that gift with others. They have built a brand new research and development brewery in downtown Woodstock to celebrate these moments. They will host this event. 

This will be a family friendly event with award winning BBQ and all the fixings that go with it, quality craft beer from Reformation Brewery, live music from River Wolf Music and games for all ages. Paddle4Tomorrow will be hosting an online raffle and drawing names live at the event to giveaway a brand new RS117. More details on that coming soon…

Paddle4Tomorrow is a non-profit dedicated to promoting and sustaining healthy relationships between diverse groups of children and the planet. They accomplish that mission by supporting and creating programs that strengthen their understanding of the outdoors and deepen their appreciation and respect for each other.

Pro team members from Bonafide, Yak Attack, Kayak Bass Fishing and Westbrook supply company will be on site for meet and greets as well as just to talk fishing with old friends and new. Since 2006, the Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour has been showcasing the very best paddling films. The World Tour screens in more than 120 cities around the world. Join us for this year's best paddling films. You'll be inspired to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push extremes, embrace the paddling lifestyle and appreciate the wild places. Each ticket includes beer from one of our incredible local breweries and a raffle ticket for a chance at some awesome prizes. All proceeds to benefit Paddle4Tomorrow a 501c3 Organization.

It's time once again to get together, drink some beer and talk all things NuCanoe. Blake Young, President of NuCanoe, will be joining us as part of his IGNITE tour. We will be showing off the new NuCanoe Flint, discussing rigging options and kayak fishing in general. More details to follow.

It's time again to come drink our beer and check out a highly anticipated and innovative kayak. The Bonafide SS127 will be here along with Pro-Staffer JD Desrosiers to answer all your questions. Weather permitting the 2nd and 3rd hour will be an on the water demo so dress appropriately.

Westbrook Supply Co. will be hosting an in-store demo of the NuCanoe Flint. Pro-Staffer and Fall Line Guide Service Owner Allen Ragsdale will be here to answer any questions you may have and discuss techniques for targeting shoal bass in our local waters. Not an opportunity to be missed!

We will be setting up a booth at this event so be sure and come by and see us. Please note that our retail location will be closed on this day.

Paddlers of all ages and skill levels will take to the water on Saturday, May 20, for the 15th Annual Back to the Chattahoochee River Race and Festival.

Organized and presented by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) in partnership with the National Park Service, and the City of Roswell, the event is organized to celebrate the Chattahoochee and foster a sense of community around the river that serves 3.5 million Georgians and 70% of metro Atlantans.

The FESTIVAL, held at Roswell’s Riverside Park, opens at 10:00AM and is FREE and family-friendly. Racers and others will enjoy LIVE music plus an array of exhibits that include local artisans and farmers market vendors.

Featured performers: Dead 27s

The RACE begins at Garrard Landing Park on Holcomb Bridge Road and includes competitive and recreational categories for Kayaks, Canoes and Stand Up Paddle Boards. This 8 mile course includes exciting Class I-II rapids and concludes at Riverside Park, the site of the FREE family-friendly festival, music and awards presentation.
*Specific details about shuttling, launch times, etc will be sent to registrants one week prior to the race.

Awards will be presented in all categories at the conclusion of the race, including awards for Best Costume and Best Boat Decoration. The race also includes a Team Challenge as a way to build pride, morale and camaraderie among groups such as companies, schools, and clubs. As a special treat for racers only, paddlers will be greeted at the end of the course by the SweetWater Beer Barge. Paddlers can enjoy sodas, water, or a SweetWater brew (for patrons 21 and over) before going ashore.

Proceeds go to support CRK’s mission to protect and preserve the Chattahoochee River system for the people and wildlife that depend upon it.
